Jangaon District With Mandals in Telangana State: Jangaon district is a district in Telangana state in India which is in the south part of India. This district was formed when 21 new districts were formed in Telangana on 11th October 2016. It lies on NH 163 and about 85 kilometers from the state capital i.e Hyderabad. Before it was a part of Warangal District and Nalgonda District, later it evolved as a district itself. The name of this district came from "Jain Gaon" which is a religion in India. Jain religion is one the most followed religion in India. Kolanpak which is about 20 kilometers from Jangaon is a famous pilgrimage for Jain peoples.

 Jangaon district has an area of about 2187 kilometers. It has an average elevation of 382 meters and it is geographically located in Deccan plateau. As of 2011 census, Jalgaon district was having a population 5,82,457. The sex ratio of this district according to 2011 census was 958 females per 1000 males. The literacy rate is around 82% in Jangaon. This district has a tropical kind of climate. It has very hot summer, moderate winter, and very less rain. Jangaon has 13 mandals. The transportation system is great as TSRTC has a bus depot in the district. Railway transportation is also good. The education system is also good here.
