YSR Law Nestham Scheme - Registration, Benefits and Eligibility: YSR Law Nestham Scheme was launched by the Andhra Pradesh government in 2019-20 financial year. Under this scheme Rs. 5,000 will be provided to all the junior advocates in the state. Junior advocates have to register their names to get the stipend.

Eligibility For YSR Law Nestham Scheme

These are the eligibility conditions for YSR Law Nestham scheme –

  1. Applicant should be a resident of Andhra Pradesh
  2. Candidates who completed their law graduation or post graduation from recognized law colleges are eligible for this scheme.
  3. They should be the registered bar council members.
  4. To avail the benefits of the scheme, the applicants must be practising law
  5. Age of junior lawyers must be below 45 years
  6. Junior lawyers should have completed 3 years and advocates must have completed 15 years in the judicial structure to be eligible for the scheme
  7. They should not own a 4 wheeler
  8. Only one member is eligible from a family

Benefits of YSR Law Nestham Scheme

Under the YSR Law Nestham scheme, registered and practising advocates and junior lawyers below the age of 45 years will get a stipend of Rs. 5,000 per month. The money will be deposited in the bank account of the beneficiary at the beginning of every month.

How to Apply For YSR Law Nestham Scheme

Those candidates who wish to avail the benefits of YSR Law Nestham scheme will have to register their names to get them included in the beneficiary list. To apply for it,

1) Go to the official website of the scheme.


2) There is a registration/login section on the home page. Select the login option. Enter all the details, check all the entered details and if no errors are found, click on the ‘register now’ button. This completes the registration process for the scheme.



3) Candidates registering for YSR Law Nestham scheme must upload their law degree, a birth certificate which is registered with the bar council. Aadhar number also should be given along with the bank details. Other documents to be submitted along with the application are the residential proof, experience proof, age proof certificates.
4) They also have to submit a declaration that states that they do not own any 4 wheeler.
