Santhana Venugopala Swamy Temple, Chinoor in Kamareddy District: The Santana Venugopal Swamy Temple is in the village of Chinoor, which is in the Nagireddy Pet Mandal of the Kamareddy District.

In the dream of King Gary, who ruled the area when the Nijam kings were in charge, a man who looked like Bhagwat appeared in the pool at the end of the village as an idol of Venugopal Swami and told him to find it and build a temple. This happened 700 years ago. The next day, the king told his army to search around the pool. After a lot of work, Rukmini, Satyabhamala, and Venu Gopala Swami found a beautiful two-and-a-half-foot statue of Venu Gopala Swami.

Local legend says that the idols of Sri Sudarshan Perumal and Srimannarayana were found with the idols of the Swami. The king then built a beautiful temple and put up the idols of the Swami, Nammalwar, and Bhagwad Ramanuja. The Agama Sastras say that worshipping the Swami and doing things during unique festivals are beautiful and a feast for the eyes.

By Train:

You can take a train from Secundrabad (SC) or Kacheguda (KCG) to get to Kamareddy. The train ride from Secundrabad to Kamareddy takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes.
