Beechupally Hanuman Temple in Gadwel District of Telangana State

Beechupally Hanuman Temple in Gadwel District of Telangana State - How to Reach & Timings: Beechupally is one of Hanuman's most well-known temples (Anjaneya Swamy). It is on the banks of the Krishna River, about 30 kilometres after the Jurala Project in the Telangana district of Jogulamba Gadwal. On the banks of the Krishna River in this area, Hindus often pay their respects to the souls of the dead.

The fact that the national highway (NH7) goes through the village has helped the shrine grow. In the 1950s, a road bridge was built to support trade between the Andhra Pradesh regions of Telangana and Rayalaseema. The bridge was one of the first ways for people in central or northern India to get to people in southern India. This road's number has changed to NH-44, which stands for "National Highway 44 (India)."

At first, the shrine was made up of a Hanuman temple about 200 metres from the river and a Shiva lingam temple near the river. During the rainy season, the water flow gets high enough to touch the Shiva lingam temple. In 1992, a temple for Lord Rama was also built nearby. For Pushkar snanam, a sacred bath that happens every 12 years, several ghats were constructed so devotees could use them efficiently. Since then, it has continued to grow and change. In 2004, more facilities were added to the shrine, making it one of the most popular places for Pushkar snanam (sacred dip).

During the 2016 Krishna Pushkaras, the government of Telangana State made detailed plans for the pilgrims and built several ghats. There are two islands in the Krishna River near the Beechupally shrine. Farmers live on a more enormous island called Gurram Gadda Village, which is about 10 km2 and has rich soil. Nizam Konda is the name of a small island on the east side (the port belongs to Nizam Nawabs).
