A two-layered brick wall surrounded each of these temples. The temple was home to a museum that displays works of art and architectural design from the Kakatiya era. Lord Shiva is honoured in the temple's primary temple. These temples have a variety of mythological sculptures, including Gaja-Kesari, lion-headed elephants with horse heads, and half-human, half-lion riders on elephants. You are lured by the sight of ancient temples nestled among the tall and majestic palms. During the reign of Ganapathi Deva (1199–1262 CE), in the cyclic year of "Jaya Nama Samvatsara, Vaisakha Sudha Trayodasi, Bruhaspati Vasaram," a certain Ganapathi Reddy installed Lord Ganapeswara and donated land (corresponding to 1234-35 CE). It is assumed that the temple was constructed in the first half of the 13th century CE based on epigraphical data.

There are more than 20 temples in the Ghanpur collection of temples. The sizes and designs of each one are different. The main temple, which is devoted to Lord Shiva, is the most gorgeous of all of these temples and the major reason you should visit this location. This temple is a must-see for anyone with the slightest interest in the historical architecture and culture of India.
