Beautiful architectural designs are always rooted in history, and the Ghanpur temples also reflect a highly vibrant culture. Despite being in disrepair, the temples explain the significance of the Kakatiya architectural style. The Kakatiya dynasty's King Ganapatideva built the temples in Ghanpur. It was constructed in the late 12th and early 13th centuries and exhibits a significant amount of that time period's culture. A two-layered brick wall surrounded each of these temples. The temple was home to a museum that displays works of art and architectural design from the Kakatiya era. It is assumed that the temple was constructed in the first half of the 13th century CE based on epigraphical data.
