Chowmahalla Palace in Hyderabad District: How to Reach, Timings & Entry Fee

Chowmahalla Palace in Hyderabad District: How to Reach, Timings & Entry Fee: Hyderabad's history is so interesting that reading about it is like reading a great love story, and its glorious past is just like a fairy tale. And the most interesting part of this book is how the Nizams ran things. They are famous for their contributions to art, architecture, and science, which are written about in history books.

The many beautiful monuments all over the city are proof of this. The fascinating Chowmahalla Palace is a great example of a building that still shows off the power of a long time ago. Chowmahalla is named after the four palaces that are there. Nizam Salabhat Jung started building the palace in the year 1750, but it was Nizam Afzar-ud-Dawla Bahadur who made sure it was finished between the years 1857 and 1869. From Laad Bazaar in the north to Aspan Chowk Road in the south, the palace used to cover 45 acres. The Chowmohalla complex is a copy of Iran's Teheran Palace, which is called Shah's Palace. At the moment, the palace is made up of two beautiful courtyards with palaces, such as the grand Durbar Hall or the Khilwat. Gardens and fountains make it even more beautiful.

The oldest part of the building is the Southern Courtyard. It is made up of the Tahniyat Mahal, the Mahtab Mahal, the Afzal Mahal, and the Aftab Mahal. The Northern Courtyard has been fixed up, and anyone can go there now. The Bara Imam, which is a long corridor, is the main thing to see in this area. The east wing, which used to be the administrative wing, has rooms. The Clock Tower is another amazing building. The Khilwat Clock, which is inside, still works perfectly.
