Benefits And Features Of the YSR Bheema Scheme

1) YSR Bima scheme is an Insurance Scheme that provides security for low-income families and unorganized workers

3) This AP insurance scheme benefits around 1.14 crore people of Andhra Pradesh state.
4) For the successful implementation of this YSR Bheema scheme, the state government of Andhra Pradesh decided on a budget of Rs 510 crores.
5) The AP Insurance scheme covers from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh and is deposited into the bank account of the beneficiary’s family member.
6) The claim amount is given within 15 days of the filing of the claim amount.

Insurance Coverage Under YSR Bheema Scheme

1) For 18 to 50 years- Rs 5 lakh Insurance coverage for both accidental death and total permanent disability
2) For 51 to 70 years- Rs 3 lakh Insurance coverage for both accidental death and total permanent disability
3) For 18 to 50 years- Rs 2 lakh Insurance coverage in case of natural death
4) For 18 to 70 years – f Rs 1.5 lakh Insurance coverage in partial permanent disability due to an accident.
