CM Mathru Purna Scheme Karnataka - How To Apply , Eligibility and Benefits: Mathru Purna (Poorna) scheme launched by government of Karnataka is a welfare scheme for women. Under this scheme nutritional meals will be provided to poor pregnant and lactating mothers. Government also planned to transfer money to the accounts of the women so that they can cook nutritional food at their homes. The scheme, CM Mathru Purna (Poorna), will be available to the women from the start of the pregnancy till six months after the pregnancy. The food that will be provided to the eligible mothers at the anganwadis will contain rice, vegetable, sambar or dal, egg etc. For vegetarians, two types of sprouts will be given every day. Local anganwadis will take care of the diet needs of women who might need special care. The Anganwadis will have well equipped schemes with gas connection, utensils, people who cook and also helpers.

Women who are pregnant or lactating mothers are eligible for Mathru purna scheme. At least one meal will be provided in a day to the eligible. Women who belong to below poverty line category and economically weaker sections can apply for the scheme. Another eligible condition to apply for the scheme is that the women should be permanent residents of the state and must be from rural areas.
