Anganwadi workers will identify the eligible candidates for YSR Sampoorna Poshana Plus scheme and register the names. To apply for this scheme, the following documents might be needed. The ID proof, medical reports of pregnant women and lactating mothers, age proof in case of children and also the resident proof.

Registration for YSR Sampoorna Poshana plus scheme is as follows. Anganwadi workers will collect the information on eligible children and women for this program. In the next step, these will be registered in the Common Application Software


Eligibility For YSR Sampoorna Poshana Plus Scheme

To apply for YSR Sampoorna Poshana plus scheme, one should be a resident of Andhra Pradesh. Age of children should be between 6 and 72 months. Every pregnant woman and lactating mother belonging to below poverty line category are eligible.



Benefits of YSR Sampoorna Poshana Plus Scheme

YSR Sampoorna Poshana Plus scheme was to be launched on 1st September 2020. Under these
scheme pregnant women, lactating mothers and children from poor facilities will get nutritional
food. Details of the pregnant woman and details of children such as monthly height, weight,
date of birth and gender will be entered correctly.

Growth of children is monitored regularly. Anganwadi centres also monitor the weight of the
pregnant women. Energy based take-home ration is provided to pregnant women and
lactating mothers. They will be educated on how to utilize the ration.

The scheme is intended to provide nutritious food to needy women in 77 tribal mandals
through 8,320 anganwadis. Infants in the age group of 3 and 6 years will be given eggs and milk.
Implementation of the scheme is monitored by YSR Sampoorna Poshana Plus App that is
developed by the Department of Women Development and Child Welfare. The government also
released the meal plan to be given to the beneficiaries of this scheme.
