Eligibility for LRS in Telangana
All the illegal layouts, which were registered through sale deed before August 26, 2020, are eligible to be regularized under LRS. Applications have to be submitted before 31th October, 2020. If ten per cent of the plots in illegal layouts were sold and registered on or before August 26, those can be regularized by paying a penalty. No property or development activity will be regularized if it is not at least way 30 meters from the boundary of the river, 9 meters from the boundary of the lake area and 9 meters from the boundary of the canal. Application received before the deadline will only be taken up and on paying the regularization fee after the applications are scrutinized and accepted.How to Apply for LRS Online in Telangana
To apply for LRS in Telangana,1) visit the official website (https://lrs.telangana.gov.in/).
2) Click on the "Apply For LRS 2020" button. It will redirect to the OTP Validation Page.
3) Enter your mobile number and click on the button Generate OTP. Then you will receive the OTP number to validate your mobile number. It redirects to the application page.
4) Two options it will available in LRS Application form like
- Individual Plot
- Layout
Select an option which you need regularize.
5) Next you need to select (Plot/Layout falls under) from the dropdown and fill the application details correctly.
6) After filling the required details. You need to go to the payment details.
For Individual it will cost 1000rs
For Layout, it will cost 10000rs.
The fee needs to be paid along with the submission of the application. Basic regularization charges are Rs. 200 per every square meter if the plot area is below 100 sq.m and Rs. 400 for below 300 sq.m plots are Rs. 600 per sq.m for below 500 sq.m plots and so on.
After paying then it will generate the application id.
