AP YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme - How to Apply, Benefits & Eligibility: YSR Vahana Mitra scheme is a scheme launched by Andhra Pradesh government for the benefit of auto drivers and cab drivers. Under this scheme, eligible applicants will get Rs. 10,000 financial help from the government. This financial aid will help the drivers to spend on maintenance of the vehicle, for paying insurance and getting all the vehicle certificates such as fitness. The scheme is aimed at improving the conditions of auto, cab and taxi drivers. There is no restriction on the number of beneficiaries for this scheme.

Eligibility For AP YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme

Following are the eligibility conditions for applying to YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme.  Age of the applicant must be above 18.

1. He should be a resident of Andhra Pradesh state.
2. He should be a holder of white ration card
3. He/she should belong to below poverty line category.
4. They should be the drivers of auto/cab/taxi.

Benefits of AP YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme

Under the YSR Vahana Mitra scheme, the government will identify the eligible auto drivers and cab drivers and provide financial help. The money received can be utilized for vehicle expenses. The scheme is aimed at helping the people belonging to below property line category who are diving commercial auto/cab/taxi. If there is more than one driver, both the drivers will get the money separately.

Documents Required For AP YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme

1. Aadhaar Card of an Individual (Aadhar Card of the applicant should be linked with the Driving License.)
2. Income certificate of the applicant
3. Unencumbered bank account within 15 days of applying for the particular scheme
4. Driving License
5. BPL / White Ration Card
6. Vehicle Papers with the proof that one is the owner of the vehicle/cab/taxi

How to Apply For AP YSR Vahana Mitra Scheme

Candidates who want to apply for YSR Vahana Mitra scheme should :

1) Visit the official website.
2) Check for the online application and click on it. Fill the details such as ration card number, Aaadhar details and phone number. Click the OTP option and enter the OTP received on the mobile phone. Enter the caster certificate details, address, bank account number and license details. Upload the necessary documents and then submit it. The application will be verified to confirm eligibility for the scheme.
3)Take the print out and note down the application ID and other information.
