What is PAN Jurisdiction?
For each PAN holder, a different number is given based on their source of income and where they live. There will be several units within each of these groups. These units are called circles or wards.
The ward you get will depend on your money, but there is a cap. You will be given a sub-jurisdiction if you claim less than the specific limit. You will be in a circle if you reveal more than a certain amount.
Remember that your AO code may change if you move elsewhere. You must apply to a new AO to change your AO code.
