Raja Rajeswara Temple, Vemulawada in Rajanna Sircilla District - How to Reach & Timings: In Telangana, one of the most well-known temples to Lord Shiva is in the town of Vemulawada in Rajanna Sircilla District. People come to this temple to worship Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy, also known as Dakshina Kasi. Sri Raja Rajeshwari Devi temple and a holy statue of Sri Laxmi Sahitha Siddhi Vinayaka are also in the temple complex. The main god who rules this place is also called Rajanna. There are many people at the temple during festivals, especially Shivarathri and other happy times. Rock-cut inscriptions in and around Vemulawada Temple show how important this place was in history. From 750 to 973 AD, it was the capital of the Vemulawada Chalukyas.

The famous Telugu poet "Bheemakavi" is said to have lived here. Still, there is more proof that the famous Kannada poet "Pampa" lived here as the court poet of Arikesari-II and dedicated his "Kannada Bharatha" to his royal patronage.

Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) runs many buses to Rajanna Sircilla district Vemulawada that go to Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Jagityal, Siddipet, Warangal, kamareddy, and Nizamabad. Until Vemulawada, you can take a bus from any major city or town.
