Citizens used to go to the sub-register office and get an EC request to print, and it may take days to get an EC for a property. Still, the Tamilnadu Government's online TN encumbrance certificate option lets citizens get it on time.
This also aids residents in determining whether a property is free of legal or monetary liability, allowing them to proceed with the purchase of a property in the state.
If you want to receive your Encumbrance Certificate online through the Tamilnadu government's official TNREGINET portal, you should have your property details when following the steps below.
1) Visit Tamilnadu Registration Department weblink tnreginet.gov.in to open the TN home page
If necessary, select the English Language in the top-right corner.
2) From the top menu, hover over E-Services.
3) Select Encumbrance Certificate from the drop-down menu. Select View EC.
To access your Encumbrance Certificate, select EC.
Provide EC by selecting Zone > District > Sub Registrar Office. EC End Date > EC Start Date
A village should be chosen (Area)
Subdivision Number > Enter Survey Number Select Add > Fill in the security code displayed on display.
4) Wait for the results to appear after pressing the Search button.
5) That's all there is to it; the Encumbrance Certificate for your property information appears on the screen. Select the choice and save EC to your computer for future use.
