Jnanabhumi Scholarship 2024 - Apply for Online, Renewal, Status: Jnanabhumi Scholarship 2024 portal gives access to different types of schemes available for eligible students of Andhra Pradesh state. Andhra Pradesh government offers scholarships for poor students to help them get financial assistance to continue their education. Types of Jnanabhumi Scholarships

Jnanabhumi is an online platform that gives access to all the scholarships offered by the Andhra Pradesh government. Post-matric and pre-matric scholarships are offered to students belonging to the state. Applications have to be submitted online at jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in. Two types of scholarships are offered through the Jnanabhumi portal in Andhra Pradesh.
 
1. Pre-matric scholarship: This scholarship is for SC/ST/disabled category children who are studying fifth to tenth classes. The government provides financial assistance to the parents of these children so that the dropout percentage is minimized. Children of the above-mentioned categories, studying in government and local bodies, are eligible for these scholarships.
 
2. Post-matric scholarship: This scholarship is for students who have completed school education and pursuing higher studies in Andhra Pradesh.

Jagananna vidya deevena and Jaganannaa vasathi deevena are the two categories under which full fee reimbursement and Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 are given for college students and ITI/polytechnic and other degree students, respectively.

Eligibility for Jnanabhumi Scholarship

Eligibility conditions vary for both pre-matric and post-matric scholarships. For pre-matric scholarships, students must belong to the SC/ST/BC/Disabled category, and the annual family income must not exceed Rs. 2 lacs. SC/ST students can apply for 5th to 10th class scholarships and backward class students can apply only for 9th and 10th classes.
 
Eligibility for the post-matric scholarship includes that the student must be studying ITI, polytechnic, a degree in any government, aided or government-recognized private colleges. Students must have 75% attendance. Family income must not exceed 2.5 lacs. The family must own land of at most 10 acres. No family member in the family must be paying income tax or should not own a four-wheeler. No member of the family should be a government employee.

Application procedure for Jnanabhumi Scholarship

To apply for Jnana Bhumi scholarships, 

1) visit the official portal: https://jnanabhumi.ap.gov.in/

2) Go to the homepage and click either the “pre-matric scholarship” or “post-matric scholarship

3) Read the instructions and click on the application link. Fill in the details and upload all the necessary documents. 

4) Finally, submit the application. Note down the generated application ID. The “post-matric scholarship” application requires the students to give their biometric authentication in the Meeseva portal. This portal can check the application status and renew the scholarship.
