- After the page opens, click on Marriage Assistance for Legally Married Transgender Couples scheme link present in the list of schemes at 37th position and go to the Documents section to download the Application Form of Marriage Assistance for Legally Married Transgender Couples.
Interested applicants must download the application form, fill in all the necessary details and supporting documents and submit the application to the concerned District Social Justice Officers. Verification of the filled in application form and the documents will be done. All legally married transgender couples applicants will get marriage assistance directly into their bank accounts after the approval of your application form.
Eligibility for Kerala Transgender Couples Marriage Assistance Scheme
- All the applicants must possess a transgender Identity card.
- All couples should apply for the financial assistance scheme after 6 months from the date of marriage and not exceeding 1 year.
- Submit a duly attested copy of the marriage certificate and the application form.
- Also, submit an original certificate proving the married couple lives together.
- One of the partners should belong to the transgender community to receive aid.
- Applicants who have already availed of the financial scheme but opt for a second marriage after having a divorce won’t be eligible for further aid.

- The marriage assistance amount has been fixed at Rs. 30,000/-.
