YSR Pension Scheme For Andhra Pradesh State: Andhra Pradesh state 2nd chief minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy started New scheme which is named as "YSR Pension Kanuka". This scheme has already existed with the name "NTR Bharosa" but after the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government came in the role just they changed from "NTR Bharosa" to "YSR Pension Scheme". Andhra Pradesh CM Ys Jagan Mohan Reddy after the sworn as CM is first signed on YSR Pension Scheme (orders were issued vide G.O.Ms.No.103 Dated: 30.05.2019) in Vijayawada.

This "YSR Pension Scheme" is more benefits for old Age Persons, widow, Toddy Tappers, weavers, Single women, Fishermen, ART (PLHIV) Persons, Traditional Cobblers, Disabled persons, people affected with Chronic Kidney Disease.

Types of Pensions Covered in YSR Pension Scheme:

1. Old Age Pension
2. Weavers Pension
3. Widow Pension
4. Disabled Pension
5. Toddy Tappers

Eligibility Criteria Common to above all Pensions:

  • The proposed beneficiary shall be from a BPL family.
  • He/she shall be a local resident of the district in Andhra Pradesh state.
  • He/she are not covered under any other Pension Scheme.

1) Old Age Pension: Old age persons, both male, and female, who are 60 years of age or above and are destitute (with little or no means of subsistence and no family or relative to depend upon).

2) Weavers Pension: Weaver is 50 years of age or above and destitute.

3)Widow Pension: Widows irrespective of the age limit.

4) Disabled Pension: Disabled persons having a minimum of 40% disability and are above 18 years of age.

Pension Amount :

The benefit under each pension for Rs.2250/- per month, Disabled persons to Rs.3,000/- per month, and also for people affected with Chronic Kidney Disease who are undergoing Dialysis both Government and network hospitals to Rs.10,000/- per month. The enhanced scale of pension came into effect from June 2019 payable from 1st July 2019 onwards. The YSR pension scheme will be increased in terms to Rs 3000 in the coming days.
