AP Chief Minister Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy announced a new scheme YSR Nethanna Nestham for the Handloom Weavers. In this scheme state government, it will provide financial support of 24,000 rupees for those connected with this tradition. This is one of the schemes specially started for Handloom Weavers and Handicraft Weavers. With the help of the scheme, the hidden talent of Handloom behaviour will come out, and they will earn some money with their talent. Beneficiaries of the scheme will get a monetary grant of 24000 rupees yearly from the Andhra Pradesh state.

Eligibility criteria of Nethanna Nestham
1) When creating the YSR Nethanna Nestham beneficial list, the main criteria followed was that the permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh was included only. Other state applicants like Telangana or Tamilnadu are not eligible for this scheme.
2) Only the Handloom Weavers are eligible to take benefit of this scheme. This scheme is specially designed and developed to improve the financial status of Handloom Weavers of Andhra Pradesh.
3) Any Handloom Weaver registered with Handloom Association is eligible for this scheme. You need to register to be able to take benefit of the scheme.
4) Any Handloom Weaver living below the poverty line can benefit from this scheme. It means that only BPL card holders are eligible.
5) One of the essential things is the bank account. If you have a bank account in your name, you can benefit. Because the benefit amount will be credited directly into your bank account.

1) When filling out the application form, a permanent resident Certificate is required. With the help of this application form, you will prove that you are a citizen of Andhra Pradesh.
2) Identity proof like an Aadhaar card or voter ID card must be required to benefit from the scheme.
3) One of the Other important documents, the registration certificate issued by the State Handloom Association, is required to fill out the application form.
4) This scheme's below-poverty line (BPL) certificate is essential.
