Karnataka SC Widow Re-Marriage Assistance Scheme: This scheme is meant to help women get married again by giving them money to live a normal life. The scheme's main goal is to help widows find new partners and get back on their feet by giving them money. The widows' lives will change differently because of this scheme.

Under this plan, women from the SC Community who have remarried will get money from the Social Welfare Department of the Government of Karnataka. The amount of the reward is 3 Lakh. The bonus is only given to people who have sent their forms within a year of marriage. This scheme has no limit on how much you can make each year. The widow should be a SC Community member. Any Caste or Religion can be a spouse.

Eligibility For Karnataka SC Widow Re-Marriage Assistance Scheme

The eligibility criteria for this Scheme are as follows: 

1) The applicant must be a Karnataka resident.
2) This Scheme has no limit on how much you can make each year.
3) The Scheme can be used within the first year of marriage.
4) Widow needs to be a part of the SC Community.

1) Aadhaar Card
2) RD Number of Caste Certificate
3) Current Marriage Registration Certificate
4) Copy of the Bank Passbook
5) Date of Birth Proof
6) Marriage Photo
7) Mobile Number
8) Previous Spouse's Death Certificate
9) Any address proof of the previous spouse

If a person is eligible and has the necessary documents, they can apply for this scheme by first visiting the department's official website and registering. The reward will be credited to the applicant's bank account upon successful spot verification by the department.

 

Benefits of the Scheme

The Social Welfare Department of the Government of Karnataka will incentivise widows from the SC community to marry under this scheme. The reward is worth 3 lakh rupees.

 

Application Process:

1) First, visit the official website.

2) Register using your Aadhaar Card and give all required details.

3) Please upload all necessary documents.

4) Following registration, the applicant will receive an SMS, and she will be able to print the acknowledgement form as proof of application.

5) The Social Welfare Department will conduct on-the-spot verification to confirm the information the applicant gave and process the application further.

6) Following successful spot verification by the department, the incentive will be credited to the applicant's registered bank account.
