Guru Nanak Jhira Sahib Gurudwara in Bidar District of Karnataka State: Gurudwara Bidar is one of Sikhs' most important places. Many people from all over the country come to this place yearly, especially in November and March. There is a story that Saint Guru Nanak went there when the country was in the middle of a famine. How to Reach Guru Nanak Jhira Sahib

By Air:

The Bidar District Head Quarters is only 120 km from the Rajiv Gandhi International Terminal in Begumpet, Hyderabad. From the airport to Bidar, it takes just 2 hours and 30 minutes to drive on NH9 until Zaheerabad and then a 28 km route after Zaheerabad.

By Road:

From Bangalore, many KSRTC government luxury buses leave every day via Hyderabad. The trip takes 16 hours via Hyderabad on NH 7 and NH 9. It takes 20 hours to get from Bangalore to Bellary through Gulbarga. From the Imaliban bus stop in Hyderabad, a bus to Bidar leaves every 15 minutes from Platform No. 36.

By Train:

Bangalore and Hyderabad both have rail services. Yeshwanthpur-Bidar Express leaves Yeshwanthpur at 7:00 p.m. The Bangalore–Nanded Link Express goes through Bidar and leaves at 9:50 p.m. from Bangalore. The Secundrabad-Manmad Express departs from Hyderabad. The train leaves Secundrabad Station in Hyderabad at 6 p.m. The Hyderabad–Aurangabad Express leaves Kachiguda three times a week. You can also take the Udyan Express or the KK Express to Gulbarga from Bangalore and then take a bus. It's 105 KMS from Gulbarga.
