Documents Required

How to Apply for Ration Card in Karnataka State



To apply for a Karnataka ration card, then you can follow the simple steps given below:-

1) Visit the official website (https://ahara.kar.nic.in/)

2)  Click on eServices (ಇ-ಸೇವೆಗಳು). On the home page tab, it will redirect to another page.

3) Click on the e-Ration Card (ಇ-ಪಡಿತರ ಚೀಟಿ). Then Select New Ration Card (ಹೊಸ ಪಡಿತರ ಚೀಟಿ )

4) Then choose the type of ration card
5) The applicant will be asked to enter the Aadhar number. The registered mobile number will receive the OTP.
6) Enter the OTP to get the Aadhar details. Fingerprints are then verified. 
7) Follow the instructions to add or delete the family members. Give contact details. After thoroughly checking the information entered, save the application.
8) Ration card is usually issued 15 days after the application is submitted. 
9) Applicant can collect the ration card copy by paying a fee of Rs. 100.
