Ingredients For Semiya Upma Recipe

Semiya – 3 cups
Mixed Vegetables (Carrot, Beans, Potato) – 1cup
Peas – ½ cup
Mustard Seeds – 2 spoons
Green Chillies – 2
Onion – 1
Curry Leaves – few
Grated Garlic – ½ teaspoon
Ghee – 1 teaspoon
Oil – 1 teaspoon
Turmeric Powder – 1 pinch
Salt – to taste

Semiya Upma Recipe Making Procedure

  1. Fry semiya in Kadai until it turns in to brown colored and keeps aside.
  2. Cut the carrot, potato, and beans into small pieces.
  3. Take a bowl then add oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and green chilies.
  4. After some time add grated garlic, onions and stir it well for a while.
  5. Now add above sliced carrots, beans, potatoes, and peas.
  6. Later on, put turmeric powder and salt to it.
  7. Add some water to boil the above vegetables, then after adding roasted semiya.
  8. Leave it on low flame until it observes water.
  9. At last, add ghee and stir it well.
  10. Now have your hot and delicious Semiya Upma, which is ready to eat.
